Thermal inkjet (TIJ) printing is a relatively new technology that uses heat to form tiny bubbles that move at very high speed and expand into larger bubbles. These force the ink droplets from the print nozzle to eject at high speeds, forming the desired numbers, text and barcodes. This fast and reliable technology can be used on various materials such as glass, metals and plastics, including PET, PE, PVC commonly used in the packaging industry.
A variety of inks are available from CodeMark including UV, wet bottle and fast drying inks. The ability of TIJ to print high-resolution text and graphics makes your design flexible, with the option to print logos, text and barcodes using the same print-head.
