Laser Printing

Laser printing offers an environmentally friendly, permanent coding solution suitable for printed cardboard, metal, glass and some plastics. It works by using a laser to either ablate, cut, etch or carbonise a mark onto the product with precision and speed.  The permanence of the code makes it anti-counterfeit and due to the clean presentation is commonly used in the wine industry. With low operation costs and no consumables required, laser etching is virtually maintenance free making it particularly suitable for high speed lines where consumable costs of other printers may be higher. Laser printing works best with a fume extraction system to remove dust or particles created by the etching process.
